Cement Division Blood Donation Drive

Blood banks get help from CMS staff

CMS Cement started the year’s CSR activities with a blood donation drive to help top up the blood bank for Bintulu Hospital. Held at the cement plant in Bintulu on 29 January 2014, the conference room was busy that day with 16 employees from CMS Cement, Samalaju Development and CMS Concrete Products who took turns to donate blood.

Meanwhile in Kuching on 4 February 2014, CMS Clinker’s Safety & Health Department also organised a blood donation campaign at the Clinker plant in Mambong. It was a good turnout for CMS Clinker – 36 employees successfully donated 36 pints of blood to Sarawak General Hospital.
