Cahya Mata Sarawak (CMS) and its employees are involved in awareness campaigns, corporate sponsorships and volunteering programmes within Sarawak. CMS Adopt-A-Mosque Programme

In 2014, CMS has contributed a total of RM135,600 to 68 mosques and suraus throughout Sarawak with 26 in Kuching, 9 in Kota Samarahan, 4 in Sarikei, 6 in Sibu, 10 in Miri, 11 in Bintulu and 1 each in Betong and Bintangor. Each mosque/surau received RM1,800 as CMS’ contribution to pay their utility bills.

The CMS Adopt-A-Mosque programme was mooted in 2002 with a mission to assist the community in building family values. To-date, CMS has adopted 68 mosques and surau, both in urban and rural areas across Sarawak.
