CMS at Asia Infrastructure 2011 Exhibition

Tuesday, 5 July 2011, Kuching – Cahya Mata Sarawak’s booth was one of 100 exhibitors at the Asia Infrastructure 2011 Exhibition which opened this morning at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) until 7 July.

On show at CMS’ booth are mostly roads related businesses of the Group specifically CMS Roads and its network of State roads, PPES Works and its network of Federal roads, and CMS Pavement Tech which brought along coring samples of rehabilitated roads using the recycling technique and cement stabilization.

Also on show were stone aggregates of various sizes, from coarse to fine, from our CMS Quarries. CMS Premix showed off types of bitumen (premix) it manufactures and even a had a demonstration of monitoring skid resistance of roads using a portable pendulum tester. CMS Wires made a presence with samples of its wire mesh.

The exhibition was officially opened by YB Dato Sri Michael Manyin, Minister of Infrastructure and Communications, Sarawak, on behalf of the Chief Minister of Sarawak.
