Cahya Mata Sarawak (CMS) recognises its responsibility to the local community and provides financial aid and assistance, which is supplemented by our employees’ commitment to ‘Doing Good, where employees volunteer as participants, and extend their time and talent to support community efforts. Through our community outreach efforts, we aim to enhance the quality of life in the communities where we work and live.

CMS Braves A Wet Colour Rush

1 February 2015 – 46 enthusiastic staff braved the heavy rain, together with 3,400 other participants at the Le’Park Civic Center, in support of the International Childhood Cancer Day.

Covered in an array of colours, raincoats and umbrellas, many brisk walked their way to complete the 5km event. Raucous laughter could be heard throughout the route, with occasional ‘colours’ bombed at the participants.

Despite the downpour, nothing could dampen the spirit of the participants, if it meant that proceeds would go to the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society.
